Initial Consultation Checklist

Here is what we hope to establish in our initial project consultation

Project Vision & Goals

A brief description of your project's purpose (e.g., modern residential, industrial expansion) and any specific health, safety, or ecological goals you have for the design.

Site Information

The physical address or Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN). This allows our Geotechnical team to perform a preliminary review of the regional soil and seismic data for your specific Central California location.

Architectural Sketches or Concepts

Any existing floor plans, site maps, or even rough sketches. These are the “artistic” starting points we use to begin our engineering analysis.

Property Surveys & Title Reports

If available, these documents provide critical information on property boundaries, easements, and existing utilities that will impact both MEP and Structural design.

Project Budget & Timeline

A clear understanding of your financial parameters and desired move-in date helps our Construction Management team align the engineering process with your business or personal goals.

Previous Engineering or Soil Reports

If any studies were conducted on the site in the past, please bring them. This “historical intelligence” can significantly accelerate our initial assessment phase.

List of Stakeholders

Identify the key decision-makers (e.g., owners, developers, partner firms) to ensure we establish clear lines of communication from day one.
